Barry Boné

Barry holds formal qualifications in business management and has over 25 years experience in the Petro-chemical Industry. Barry regularly consults to leading Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substance Industries throughout Australia.
He is accredited by the Australian Institute of Dangerous Goods Consultants. Barry also acts on Government Advisory Panels and Technical Committees regarding matters relating to industry Regulation of Dangerous Goods.
George Nastase
- National Operations Manager
George joined Petrolink in 2009 as Operations Manager and has implemented a range of measures and systems resulting in increased customer and staff satisfaction, increased efficiency and productivity and lower downtimes. Overall George’s expertise contributes to making Petrolink more competitive and an obvious choice when it comes to petro-chemical engineering solutions for fuel systems design, installation and environmental consulting.
George has a Degree in Engineering and formal qualifications in Project Management, Business and Financial Management.
Craig Boné
- Key Accounts Manager
Craig has over 20 years’ experience in the maintenance and servicing of Fuel Management Systems and holds Diplomas in Industrial Electronics, Programmable Logic Controllers and Maintenance Planning. His expertise as a trouble shooter and problem solver is highly sought after by existing clients throughout NSW and Queensland. His numerous achievements in evolving roles show his innovative thinking, leadership qualities and awareness of client’s expectations.
As Key Accounts Manager Craig now focuses on the specific needs of a select group of clients to offer specialised knowledge and exemplary service.
Carsten Henriksen
- Head – Projects Engineering
Carsten is a qualified Engineer (B Eng, Hons, Mechatronics). In addition he holds formal qualifications in business management. Carsten has worked in the petro-chemical industry for almost 20 years and has gained an enormous amount of experience in that time. Carsten’s role within Petrolink is to provide engineering solutions to clients problems and there aren’t too many problems left that he hasn’t solved. Carsten takes on a Project Management role whenever chemical blending, batching or injection is needed and is adept at providing innovative engineering solutions to electro-mechanical problems encountered in the field..
Ann Li
- Environmental Engineer
Ann joins Petrolink as our Senior Environmental Engineer with solid skills in environmental planning. Ann has worked in China, New Zealand and Australia on a variety of major projects involving analysis of petro-chemical effects on soil and groundwater, stormwater and waste water management and petro-chemical design projects. Ann has been responsible for planning, budgeting, process design and directing fieldworks. Ann has a Masters Degrees in Civil/ Environmental Engineering as well as a Masters in Materials Engineering and Chemical Process Engineering.
Stephen Barnes
- Works Manager
Stephen is responsible for organising and directing the day to day maintenance works for our list of contracted maintenance Clients. Stephen’s hands on approach, excellent communication skills and experience enable him to develop workable solutions for almost any area of planned maintenance.
Julie Bergan
- SIRvey Consultant
Julie looks after the wetstock inventory of 100 underground tanks as well as the accuracy of over 250 fuel bowsers for over 50 clients. Each month the results of Statistical Inventory Reconciliation Analysis are entered into our dedicated computer system and the integrity of each tank and the accuracy of each bowser is calculated. Julie ensures this process happens seamlessly and all clients are made aware of the condition of their critical equipment.
Other Key Staff
Petrolink’s full staff complement of over 20 people are valued for expertise gained over many years and through many different styles of project. Our technical staff include experienced and qualified project co-ordinators, mechanical fitters, pipefitters, valve technicians, pump technicians, specialist welders, machinists and fabricators.
All field staff undergo regular training and refreshers in courses particular to our industry. These include Responsible Officers, Confined Spaces, Hot Work Permitting, OH&S, First Response Fire Fighting and First Aid and the use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment.
